I found your site from Holly's site. Thanks for posting photos, that will be very helpful and interesting to me. I am hoping to get Active FX soon! My doc said they use (only) numbing face cream and that is plenty (for pain). Yikes, it sounds like the whole process is pretty painful! I've made a list of questions for him regarding what I've read on HollyHodder. All the other experiences listed have generated a huge list of questions for me to ask prior to my decision. GOOD LUCK healing and keep the photos coming!! Happy Vicodin(ing), hah!
